OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University's women's cross country program received two postseason accolades today as head coach Richard Ceronie was named the 2007 All-Ohio Division I women's cross country Coach of the Year and sophomore Laura Neufarth was named the All-Ohio Division I Female Runner of the Year.

Ceronie led the RedHawks to four first-place team finishes, including the All-Ohio Championships title on Oct. 15. Miami finished third at the MAC Championships on Oct. 27 and later placed eighth at the Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 10.

Neufarth (Centerville, Ohio- Centerville) burst onto the scene in '07, winning the first six races of the season, including the MAC Championship in 17:35.3 and the All-Ohio Championship Division I race in 18:32.6. She finished fifth at the Great Lakes Regional in 20:44.07, and competed at the NCAA Championships on Nov. 19, finishing 82nd, with a time of 21:25.7.
