BUDAPEST, Hungary - The Miami University synchronized skating team ended in ninth place at the 2008 World Synchronized Skating Championships in Budapest, Hungary, with the free skate taking place on Saturday.

The RedHawks finished with 103.76 points in the free skate portion, giving them a two-day total of 168.04. The Rockettes of Finland were crowned world champions with a total of 210.48 points.

Out of a total of 22 teams competing, the RedHawks were in seventh place after the short program and finished well into the upper half of the field.
