ANN ARBOR, Mich. - All three of the Miami University synchronized skating teams kicked off their season as they competed at the Dr. Porter Synchronized Skating Classic on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 and 2 at the Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Junior Free Skate


The Junior team debuted both the short and free skate, Collegiate the free skate and the Senior team their short program.

Collegiate Free Skate


The RedHawk Junior team came out on top of the US teams with a fourth place finish in both the short and free skate. The Collegiate team skated away with a first place finish, totaling 97 points competing against 11 other universities and colleges. The Senior short team placed second in their short competition with a score of 64.12 points.

The RedHawks will next compete when all three teams travel to the Mid-American Championships/Junior World Qualifier in Fraser, Mich. on Jan. 11-13.
