To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of their sport's contests.Pace (Toronto, Ont.- Birchmont Park), after just her sophomore season, is already the program's all-time leader in saves with 200 and set the school's single-season mark with 120 this year.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[Miami University forward Sara Lund has been named the Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year in women's soccer as announced by the MAC office on Thursday evening.Lund (Malmo, Sweden) was also named to the All-MAC First Team in her rookie campaign, as well as being named a member of the All-MAC Freshman Team. Fellow RedHawk Julie Thompson (Glenview, Ill.) joined Lund on the All-Freshman Team.Lund scored 19 points on seven goals and five assists for the RedHawks. Her seven goals also ranked third in the MAC, while her five assists place her in a tie for sixth in on the league assists list.]]></description>

The sophomore out of Toronto, Ontario has stood solid in goal for the RedHawks and has notched 116 saves on the year, 20 more than the previous record holders.In her second season with the RedHawks, Pace has played all 17 games in goal.
