LOUISVILLE, KY - The Miami University Dance Team once again earned top honors at the National Dance Alliance (NDA) collegiate summer camp, held at the University of Louisville August 3-6. The Miami Dance Team attends camp each summer to learn new material, compete, and earn a bid to the NDA National Collegiate competition.

The team came home with a full paid bid to nationals, a third place finish in the Division 1-A competition, a superior rating in the initial evaluation, a Spirit Stick, and was voted "Most Collegiate" by other teams. The full paid bid that the Miami Dance Team received was awarded to the Best All-Around Team, voted on by other teams and NDA Staff. In addition to team awards, senior and Captain Rachael Gilpin and sophomore Laura Siedlecki were named NDA All-Americans.

To fill remaining spots on the team, the dance team will be holding fall auditions from August 29-31 at the Millett Hall Sub-Gym. If interested in auditioning for the dance team, please contact Head Coach Eloiza Domingo-Snyder at dominge@muohio.edu.
