BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Miami University men's cross country team finished ninth at the NCAA Division I Men's Great Lakes Regional Meet hosted by Indiana University on Saturday.

Miami ended the meet with a team score of 271.

Pat Sovacool was the top finisher for the RedHawks, ending in 31:10.73, good for 12th place. Brad Untrauer finished 37th with a time of 31:51.63, while Kevin Silver was 59th at 32:33.49. Michael Veatch finished 80th in 32:55.54. Adam Martin and Paul Krebs finished 89th and 91st with times of 33:12.89 and 33:15.47, respectively. Michael Perry was 93rd, finishing in 33:17.47.

The RedHawks finished two spots behind fellow MAC team Eastern Michigan and just ahead of Kent State.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison won the event with 68 points with the University of Michigan finishing second.
