Only RedHawk rookie to suit up for all 42 games ... led all Miami freshmen and was fourth among Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) freshmen with 30 points on 11 goals and 19 assists, while ranking fourth on the team's scoring chart ... his 30-point season was the highest by a RedHawk freshman since Matt Christie recorded 21-14--35 points in the 2003-04 campaign ... one of seven Miami forwards to eclipse the 20-point mark and one of four to tally over 30 points ... amassed four multi-point games ... netted his first collegiate goal in a 5-1 win against Canisius (Oct. 13), before tacking on his first multi-assist performance at Miami in helping the RedHawks secure a 3-1 victory and series sweep of Canisius (Oct. 14) ... compiled his first three-point effort as a collegian in a 4-2 triumph at Lake Superior State (Nov. 11) ... continued his offensive prowess by registering a career-high four points on two goals and two assists in a 7-3 win over Nebraska-Omaha (Nov. 17) ... tallied his first game-winner in a Red and White uniform at St. Lawrence (Nov. 24) ... named CCHA Rookie of the Week on Dec. 12 after pouring in two goals and two assists as Miami took three of four points from Ohio State (Dec. 8-9) ... filed a five-game point streak from Dec. 8-Jan. 5 ... notched one of his two power-play goals on the year in a 5-3 victory at Western Michigan (Jan. 12) ... posted a career-best +3 rating on three occasions ... placed third on the team with a +11 rating ... was the recipient of Miami's Rookie of the Year Award.

Played two years with the USNTDP, appearing in 108 games before spending two seasons with the Tri-City Storm (Kearney, Neb.) of the United States Hockey League ... tallied nine goals and 13 assists for the Under-18 team in 2003-04 ... won a silver medal at the World Under-18 Championship in 2003 ... earned player of the game honors versus the Czech Republic ... won a silver medal at the 2004 World Under-17 Championship in Belarus ... Skated in 110 games over two seasons for Tri-City ... tallied 30 goals over the two years and had his best season in 2005-06 with 15 goals and 37 assists ... racked up 91 penalty minutes in 2005-06.
