Played three seasons for the Gloucester Rangers of the Central Junior Hockey League ... was the team's rookie of the year before serving as an assistant captain during his final two seasons ... was the team's top scorer in 2004-05 with 68 points on 22 goals and 46 assists ... tied for seventh in the league in scoring ... named the CJHL Player of the Month for January 2005 and also was a Robinson Division First-Team All-Star ... was a third-round pick of the Ontario Hockey League's Guelph Storm in 2002.
