Saw action in 11 of the 12 games as a true freshman, totaling 11 tackles ... primary used as a special teams player, but did see spot duty at linebacker.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered three seasons as a tailback and safety at Westland High School, serving as team captain as a senior ... totaled 100 tackles on the defensive side of the field in 2005, while rushing for 650 yards and 10 touchdowns on the offensive side ... an All-League and Honorable Mention All-District pick during his senior season ... coached by Jeff Jones ... also a standout basketball player for the Cougars, earning three varsity letters in basketball and helping Westland to the state semifinals last season.
