Dayton's Brian Roberts:
"I don't think I've ever made a bigger shot in my career. Everybody in our locker room at halftime just said we got to keep our poise and chip away at the lead. We were just forcing a lot of shots in the first half, and Miami thrives on that. We executed well the last two minutes, both offensively and defensively."

(Was he thinking "three" all the way on the final shot?) "When he (Bramos) got back to the free throw line and made his last shot, I saw there were 13 seconds left. I just knew I was going to be the one to take the shot. I didn't necessarily know it was going to be a three, but I saw an opening and I rose up. Coach told me if I had an opening, I had to shoot it, and that's what I did."

Dayton's Brian Gregory:
"We're very fortunate to leave here with a win. I'm excited about our guys and the heart that they showed, and hopefully we can build on that."

(On Kurt Huelsman and London Warren) "Both those guys go as kind of unsung heroes. Kurt does so many things that people don't see. Obviously, he's very good defensively, anchoring our defense. He really made some big plays for us tonight. And London, we would have been down 25 at half if it wasn't for London. He saved us in that first half."

(On last shot) "You try to extend the game ... you try to make the game as long as you can. The more chances you have of Brian Roberts doing some special things. And that's exactly what happened. "

Miami's Michael Bramos:
"We did a lot of standing around in the second half. They went to a different defense, double-teaming the post. I just think we stood around too much in the second half. "

(On his near-record nine three-pointers) "The loss hurts too much as this point. I'd rather have not hit a three and won, then to do what I did. If we would have won, it would have been a lot better."

Miami's Charlie Coles:
"You've got to give Dayton all kinds of credit. I don't want to give them credit, but I've got to. Energy was the name of the game. The guy I credit for turning the whole game around was London Warren. He turned the game around. They took Roberts out and Warren came in with all that energy. Even though they were losing the game, they had a little hop in their step. Even though we were winning, the hop in our step wasn't there, except for Bramos, and he had two hops."
